- The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and materials and services necessary to operate the Base Furnishings Management Operations and maintain government-furnished property in support of Bolling AFB, DC, and sites located on Fort Myers, VA, Ft Meade, Ft McNair, and Andrews AFB, MD. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the statement of work as well as all local, state and federal regulations. Services shall include the following: The contractor shall manage all aspects of furniture, equipment and appliance management for dormitories, lodging facilities, unaccompanied officer and NCO quarters, major repairs, minor repairs, emergency services and mass moves. The SIC Code is 561110 and the small business size standard is $6.0 million. The proposed contract will be 100% set-aside for small businesses. The period of performance is for a 6-month basic period and four (4) one year options. It is anticipated that performance will commence on 1 April 2003. This is a competitive, best value solicitation in which competing offerors past and present performance history is significantly more important than price. This solicitation will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 17 January 2003, http://www.eps.gov. Closing date of this solicitation will be 20 calendar days after the issue date. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. No fax/telephone requests will be accepted. Prospective Offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. This notice does not obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. **NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR RESGISTRTION BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
