Description

Notice of Contract Action. The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award on a sole source basis a GSA delivery order for continued development and integration of the AF Junior ROTC Web-enabled enterprise-wide Database Management System, along with a portal known as Cyber Campus II, and a cadet management system known as JUMS, all of which support 744 Air Force Junior ROTC units around the world and some 110,000 students. It is anticipated that this will be a six-month performance period beginning 20 Dec 02 through 19 Jun 03. The government proposes to award to American Management Systems, Inc., 12601 Fair Lakes Cir., Fairfax, VA 22033. No requests for proposals will be issued. If there other firms which believe they can provide follow-on software upgrades and integration of AMS developed software codes, systems analysis, programming, training support and consulting, all of which require considerable advance knowledge of Air Force Junior ROTC core processes, inquiries are welcome. If no responses to this notice are received before 2:00PM Central Daylight Time on 19 Dec 2002, a sole source delivery order from American Management Systems, Inc. will be pursued.
