- Description
- Contractor shall mechanically clean three exhaust hoods located at the John D. Dingell, VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI, Canteen Area. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 561790. Projected period of service is from date of award through January 31, 2003, with two pre-priced option years. Cleaning of three exhaust hoods and horizontal ducts shall be done bi-monthly. Cleaning of vertical ducts and impellers shall be done semi-annually. Contractor shall have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of mechanical cleaning of hoods and ducts and shall provide documentation of such prior to contract award. Contractor shall provide documentation to verify compliance with all NFPA and OSHA standards prior to award. A walk-through will be conducted on Thursday, January 9, 2003 at 9:00 am at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI. Interested contractors shall meet at 9:00 am in room B4213 (Contracting Office). A question and answer session will be allowed before and during the walk-through. Requests for quotes are now available. Requests may be obtained directly from this website or via facsimile at (313) 576-1077. Telephone or e mail requests will not be honored. Contractors are responsible for verifying that Request for Quote (RFQ) 553-17-03 have been received in the Contract Office. All requests must reference RFQ 553-17-03. Proposals are due by Friday, January 24, 2003, at 4:00 pm, local time, in room B4213 (if hand delivered), at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Acquisition Management (001R-A), 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201. Offers received after the due date will not be considered. Contractors are responsible for verifying receipt of documents in the contract office. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business concerns. See numbered note 1.
