- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) intends to conduct negotiations on a sole source basis with Miller-Nelson Research, Monterey, CA, for a Humidity Control System with Vaporizer. These systems are specified equipment in numerous internationally accepted NIOSH respirator certification testing and operational procedures in accordance with Title 41 CFR84. The system produces well-controlled dynamic mixtures with gases or vapors at desired levels using direct reading dial potentiometers. This purchase requires consistency through NIOSH respirator certification test procedures and compatibility with military labs. jointly developing with NIOSH. Miller-Nelson Research is the only known source that can furnish this equipment. This notice is for information purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. See note 22.
