Description

Invitation to Bid for Modifications to First Floor Probation Space, U.S. Courthouse, 101 1st Street SE, Cedar Rapids, IA. Job PCN RIA23820. Invitation For Bid o/a 12/20/02. Estimated Cost Range: $250,000 to $500,000. Time for completion: 180 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Competency qualification information is required prior to award for asbestos and lead paint. Abatement insurance for covering this type of work is also required. No document charge or deposit required. The project consists of providing all labor, material and disposal required to modify the first floor probation space. Work includes but is not limited to, demolition, new partitions, acoustical ceiling, installing doors, frames and hardware; new lighting, sprinklers, painting and associated electrical and mechanical work. Option 1 consists of those items in the specifications/drawings identified as tenant improvements. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. There is a 10% price evaluation factor for Hub Zone Small Business and a 10% Price Evaluation Adjustment for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns.
