- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Department of Treasury have a requirement for electronic tax law research services that provide a powerful tax administration tool for IRS and Treasury by ensuring that a majority of their research requirements for legal, business, and news sources are satisfied. The IRS has partnered with Department of Treasury to obtain research services through this acquisition. This acquisition will be conducted as a full and open competition. The contract will consist of one base year with four one-year optional renewal periods of performance. All responsible vendors may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The required services have been determined to meet the definition of commercial items in accordance with Part 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The solicitation document will be posted on the Internet at http://www.procurement.irs.treas.gov approximately fifteen days after the publication date of this synopsis. Reference solicitation No. TIRNO-03-R-00006. Copies of the solicitation can only be obtained from the Internet address listed above. All relevant information regarding proposal preparation and submission will be included in the solicitation document. No telephonic inquiries will be accepted.
