- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-03-G-6553 to McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company (Boeing), for F/A-18 series aircraft supplies and services for the U.S. Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The supplies and services to be provided will include, but are not limited to the following: Retrofit change kits and spares required to incorporate approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) required for the correction of discrepancies on the F/A-18 series aircraft. Support equipment, engineering, data, production prototyping, manufacture, and validation of change kits to retrofit Operational Safety and Improvement Program Changes to delivered aircraft. Technical Publications for Engineering Change Proposals, Operational Safety and Improvement Program Changes, other technical publication updates, and Contractor factory/Government on-site training as required. McDonnell Douglas Corporation performed the previous BOA that this is replacing and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, personnel base, and technical data packages necessary to accomplish this effort.
