- NA QUESTIONS ON DISTRIBUTION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE PLANS ROOM AT PHONE (251) 690-2535 OR FAX (251) 694-4343. Specific questions related to this project may be answered by Mr. Alfred R. Denmark at fax number (251) 690-2902. Con tracting Officer for this project will be Leo J. Hickman. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990. Bid documents are available on or about 10 January 2003. Estimated cost of work is between $5,000,000 an d $10,000,000. Unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Dredge a new channel for the Navy to a depth of 38 ft x 350 ft wide. Total dredged amount is 600,000 CY to be disposed of in the approved Gulf disposal si te. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed-paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Note No. 2: All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium.
