Description

The Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Naval Engineering Division intends to contract for the upgrade kits for the USCG Polar Star. Parts shall be new and shall be certified in writing by the original equipment manufacturer upon delivery (OEM). Items include: Push Rod PN 2241325, 32 each, Camshaft R.S. PN 21600257 2 each, Support, Fuel Pump PN 23200229 16 each, Camshaft L.S. PN 21600258 2 each, Bearing Assembly, Outboard PN 2160032 4 each, Piston, PN242004230 16 each, Liner, Cylinder PN 22110121 16 each. This solicitation will be issued utilizing Far Part 12 procedures for the procurement of commercial items. Delivery of equipment will be NLT 01 Feb 03. For Woman Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises to acquire short- term working capital assistance for the transportation related contracts, loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further information concerning the STLP call the OSDBU at 1-800-532-1169.
