- This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS is 56172. The intention of this solicitation is to obtain Janitorial Services for the Southern Research Station by means of a combination of fixed price and indefinite quantity performance based service contract. The contract period consistes of a base year and four one-year options. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management services, equipment and materials necessary to provide janitorial services for approximately 34,000 square feet of office space in accordance with the specifications in the solicitation. The solicitation provides the specific requirements for submission of offers. Offerors will be evaluated on relevant experience, project staffing, past performance, and price. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading a copy of the solicitation, and also for monitoring this site for the release of any solicitation amendments. The closing date and time for receipt of proposals will be Jan 27, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. Pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 1:00 pm. Location of the pre-proposal conference is the Southern Research Station, 200 W T Weaver Blvd Asheville, NC 28804. You are encouraged to attend the preproposal conference.
