- Anticipated Issue Date: 12/16/2002. The U.S. Marine Corps; Blount Island Command (BIC), intends to lease corporate apartments. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with the procedures identified in Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 and 15. The total requirement is for 10 each 2 bedroom corporate apartments. Specific dates are as follows: for 24 March 2003 through 30 April 2004; 3 each (2 bedroom) and for 7 April 2003 through 30 April 2004; 7 each (2 bedroom). All apartments will be fully furnished to include all bedding/linens, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, stove, refrigerator, cooking utensils), washer/dryer, dinning area (table chairs), living area (television, couch, chair, etc), bath area with towels and air conditioning/heating. Rental cost should include: telephone (long distance calls exclude), utilities, cable, trash, and any cost associated after vacancy. Vehicle storage and parking for three Government vehicles and eight privately own vehicles. The apartment complex must be within close proximity to BIC, 5880 Channel View Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32226 (a 30 mile radius). Must be able to provide access to a meeting or conference room for after hour business meeting and work related discussions. Must also be able to provide a gymnasium or fitness center. Solicitation will be posted electronically and can be accessed via www.neco.navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. No telephone calls will be accepted.
