- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM/ARDEC is seeking qualified firms who can respond to a request for proposal for the Load, Assemble, and Pack (LAP) of approximately 270,000 M795 High Explosive Projectiles FY03 through FY07. As an option or separate requirement, an additional 30,000 inert filled projectiles may be required. A qualified source should possess the capability and facility to load, assembly and pack 155mm projectiles with TNT. The Government will not facilitize prospective offerors. Any offeror will be required to self facilitize at their own expense. An upfront process development effort may be included that will provide propsective bidders with the opportunity to develop and prove that they possess a robust melt pour process that meets necessary inspection processes.
