Description

NA The United States Property and Fiscal Office for New York (USP&FO-NY) is considering whether or not to set-aside an acquisition for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) concerns only. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is b etween $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable North American Industruy Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 23320 and the small business size standard is $28.5 million. The acquisition is for renovation of walls, floors, ceilings, doorw ays, HVAC systems, electrical systems, the installation of new fire protection systems, and the provision of temporary trailers for displaced personnel during the project. Work includes a base bid item and one optional bid item. At the present time, the acquisition is expected to be issued under full and open competition procedures. However, in accordance with FAR 19.1305, if your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to submit an offer on this acquisition, please respond by e-mail or facsimile to LTC Ke nneth D. Trzaskos at kenneth.trzaskos@ny.ngb.army.mil or (518) 786-4985. In your response include: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (b) efidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts,and points of contacts and telephone numbers; and (c) a positive statement of your remaining bonding capability. Your response is requested by December 19, 2002. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested may result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern.
