- Description
- Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for Natchez Trace Parkway Project PRA-NATR 3T6, V5, in Claiborne and Jefferson Counties, Mississippi. The project consists of streambank stabilization utilizing Longitudinal Peaked Stone Protection (LPSTP) at Bayou Pierre (MP 44) and Coles Creek (MP 23). The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about Dec 19, 2002. Bids will be due on or about Jan 22, 2003. Bid documents will only be available through the Federal Business Opportunities website at EFLHD Solicitation Synopsis page: http://www1.eps.gov/spg/DOT/FHWA/71/postdate_1.html. At this time, plan sheets are available on Compact Disk only. To request a copy of the plans for this project, you must email your request to: eflhd.contracts@fhwa.dot.gov . Request must include the solicitation number, project name and number; requesting firm name and address; a point of contact; and telephone number. All requests will be mailed first class. Requests for overnight shipment will not be accepted. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Enterprises (DBEs) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
