Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20001213. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7373. NAICS is 541512. This acquisition is for Brand Name items only and is a 100% Small Business set-aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (The award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. This Brand Name purchase will be for a total of forty (40) items that comprise a complete Digital Audio Communication System. The required Digital Audio Communications System items are manufactured by Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc. (ASTi) and consist of: Three (3) Digital Audio Communication Systems comprised of 2U Industrial Rackmount Chassis, Intel-based Model Processor, Hard Drive, Floppy Drive, TDM Master DSP, 10/100Mbs Ethernet Host Interface, 10/100Mbs Ethernet Network I/face, Model Builder Software Development and Runtime Licenses, Technical Documentation (1 Copy per PO), Shipping, Packaging and Handling, Part Number: ND-2U-TA2-F2-FD; Three (3) Functionality Software packages comprised of Software for 4 Distributed Operators@ 750 each, two remote interface units (RIU-v41) included, Network radio (10x @500 credits each), Local Intercoms (no credits required), Environmental cue play sounds (no credits required), engines (2x@250 each), Part Number: SW-8500-R2; Three (3) Second TDM Cards to run at 16 Khz for aural cues, Part Number: TA2; Six (6) Telex Lightweight Headsets single mono earcup w/boom canceling mic., Part Number: HS-TX-PH-88R; Three (3) Headsets, Telex, military style dual mono ear-cup w/boom mic., Part Number: HS-TX-PH-10R; Nine (9) PTT Switchs, beltclip, w/volume control, Part Number: PTT-01-001; Twelve (12) Cable Assemblies, RIU to PTT switch, 10?, Part Number: CA-D9M-X6F-10-B; and One (1) Technical Support Contract for the Above Items-(The Technical Support Contract includes a bank of 30 hours, funded in advance that may be consumed either by phone, fax, e-mail or for on-site travel at the customer?s request. As support is used, the hour balance is debited and unused hours may be credited at the conclusion of the contract or towards spares and repairs. The discount rates for labor charges only apply when the account is in credit. These additional features can be renewed via an annual renewal fee. Additional blocks of hours may be purchased at any time.), Part Number: ASC-30. IMPORTANT: IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR CLAUSE 52.232-18 AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, AWARD OF THIS CONTRACT ACTION IS CONTINGENT UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF APPROPRIATED FUNDING.
