- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ50507-001-3 for the provision of Fabrication and Construction of Fifty Six (56) Security Window Screens for various windows at the Federal Medical Center Carswell. Screens to be fabricated utilizing 12 gauge steel welded construction frame and sub-frame with 10 gauge (.047) inch diameter stainless steel wire mesh. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the window screen fabrication and construction. The solicitation will be available on or about October 25, 2002 and will be destributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
