Description
NA Previous notice under this Solicitation Number was for the Environmental Remediation Services Program. This Synopsis is for one of the seven contracts under this program. On or about 17 December 2002, this office will issue a Request for Proposal for Env ironmental Remediation Services under NAICS Code 562910 - the small business size standard is 500 employees. This RFP is being issued with competition unrestricted open to both large and small business firms. This Contract will be awarded with a Not To Exc eed Amount of $75,000,000 with a total contract duration period of five years, without options. Task Orders will be either cost reimbursable or firm fixed price basis an d will not be issued under multiple award contract procedures. The awardee will have t he capabilities to perform in the USACE Northwestern Division, (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin) Region 1 - defined as (Illinois, Michigan, Indiana , Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland) and any existing USACE Omaha District customer locations. The work will include but not be limited to: providing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment for performance of all work identified in individual task orders; being cognizant of all applicable laws, regulations and guidance associated with the wor k. Individual Task Orders will require but not be limited to: submittal of work plans, performance of investigation and field studies, provide engineering support and response design, perform response actions and removals, and provide qualified project manage ment. Large business concerns are required to submit a small business sub-contracting plan in accordance with the solicitation. Large Businesses are encouraged to utilize small business, small disadvantaged business, woman owned small business, historical ly bla ck universities and minority institutions and HUBZone small businesses to the maximum extent possible in performance of any resultant contract. The maximum amount of a task order shall not exceed the total contract amount or the total of all task or ders combined shall not exceed the total contract amount of $75,000,000. There may be multiple task orders issued requiring contractor performance sim ultaneously. Each task order will identify the required scope of work and may include any combination of the following: field investigations and studies with associated reports; engineering support and/or response design and response actions. The solicitation will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. All solicitation documents and amendments thereto will be posted to the Omaha District's Advertised Solicitation Web Site at http://ebs-nwo.wes.army.mil It shall be the contractor's responsibil ity to check the web site for any amendments.
