- This solicitation is for the acquisition of items primarily manufactured by Eldec Corp. cage code 08748. Items solicited are manufactured by or for Eldec;however, there are some items where other approved sources exist. NSNs that will be awarded in accordance with drawings are as follows: 5910004768304,5930010202634,5930010207993,5962012790151 and 5999004121003. Offerors should be aware that there is a potential for split awards. The intent is to award an indefinite delivery type contract for a one year base and four option years. Solicitation and NSNs will be available for download on the internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. FEDERAL,MILITARY,and COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plue option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class:1420,4730,5840,5895,5905,5910, 5930,5935,5950,5955,5961,5962,5980,5996,5998,5999 and 6625. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
