- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase the following Items: A portable, single box laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) with the following minimum specifications: Battery power option, Demodulation Processing: heterodyne; velocity output signal type: analog and digital; minimum detectable surface velocity (um/s) 0.05; minimum velocity to voltage scale (mm/s/V) is 5; velocity resolution (um/s) is 0.05; frequency range (0 Hz to 20 kHz) is 0 Hz to 20 kHz; working distance (0.2 to 25m). Accessories as follows: Battery Supply Kit, Replacement Battery, Cable for charging battery with car 1V lighter socket, 5 meter cable and extended warranty that covers annual device calibration for (2) years. Quantity of all items (1). This is a competitive, 100% small business set aside. NAICS code is 334519, size standard is 500 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-7. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies. Evaluation factors are technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and price, with Technical capability being slightly more important than price. The solicitation is expected to be available on our website by December 9, 2002 and it is currently anticipated that responses will be due by Dec 18, 2002 . Delivery will be FOB Destination, Newport, Rhode Island and within 3 weeks after award. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
