- Contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, operating supplies, and other incidentals, to CLEANING OF HORSE CORRALS, LOCATION: WILD HORSE HOLDING FACILITY , 280 HIGHWAY 191 NORTH, ROCK SPRINGS, WY. 82901: This job will be bid per the number of pens to be cleaned per job and the overall depth of the debris. A total of (20) corral areas are located at the Rock Springs Wild Horse Holding Facility. *Map of area is attached noting square footage per pen. The job being requested at this time to be completed by Feb 8, 2003 will include all 20 pens. Depth of the debris is estimated to be an average per pen of 12". (* Bidding will be based on the corral areas to be cleaned and the depth of the debris as noted above. This will allow the Government more flexibility in working with the variables of both the number of horses held/caught, number of pens used, and length of time the horses are held at the facility during a certain timeframe. Because of the variables in this job Vendors bidding are encouraged to do a site visit.) The corral area noted per job will be cleaned down to dirt/corral base level(s). The depth of the debris will be estimated as stated under C. No re-leveling after removal of the debris will be required of the contractor. The contractor need not clean out under fence lines, but shall clean within an 8- inch area of the fence lines. (*Note: Contractor responsibility while doing this job.) The Government will be responsible for clearing out of each corral area including all horses, and/or any other items, which are not permanently affixed to the corral areas, prior to the contractor beginning work. Example of permanently affixed item will be the water troughs - these will not be removed. All debris removed from the corrals will be hauled to the following location/facility: Sweetwater Waste Disposal Site Compost area, Hwy 191 South, Rock Springs, Wy. This site is an EPA approved dumping site for such debris. Job completion date requested for the cleaning during FY2003 period will be Feb 8th. Weather conditions and timeframes for holding and roundup of horses will be reviewed prior to setting of the exact timeframe and date for the corral cleaning. The Project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a 100% small business set-aside. A performance period no later then 8 February 2003.
