- THIS MODIFICATION IS BEING POSTED TO ALTER THE DELINEATED AREA FOR THE PROCUREMENT. REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 4,285 rentable square feet yielding a minimum of 3,726 usable square feet and maximum of 3,912 usable square feet of contiguous office and related space in Springfield, Illinois. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. Existing, proposed, or sites for new space will be considered. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located within the following delineated area within Springfield, IL: NORTH: Jefferson (Rte 97), then North on Walnut Street, then East on North Grand, SOUTH: Interstate 72, then North on to Pasfield Road, then East on South Grand, WEST: One Half Mile West of Koke Mill Road, EAST: 11 Street, then West on South Grand Road, then South to Pasfield Road. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. On-site reserved parking must be provided for one (1) vehicle. Space must be ready for occupancy by May 31, 2003. LEASE TERM: Term is 10 years, 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after 5 years.
