- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Talley Defense Systems, Inc., 4051 N. Higley Road, Mesa, AZ 85277-4299 a contract to perform Insensitive Munitions Performance Tests on a candidate explosive to replace aluminized COMP A-3 in the USMC Shoulder Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon High Explosive Dual Purpose Warhead. Talley Defense Systems, Inc. is uniquely qualified to perform this effort, as assets from the current USMC production line will be required to perform the testing. The solicitation number is N00178-03-R-1039. Note 22 applies The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://ww w.nswc.navy.mil/supply. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
