- This is a modification to an FBO synopsis that was issued on 30 October 2002. The pre-solicitation synopses of solicitation appeared in FBO on 09 July 2002 and 03 October 2002. The purpose of this notice is to announce the release of Amendment 3. In the event that the file does not appear when searching the FedBizOpps "Active Documents" page, it may be that the RFP has been stored in the FedBizOpps "Archived Documents" page. The search method for both pages is the same: 1. Go to the "Full Text Search" box and type "YON fuel barges." 2. Go to the "Documents to Search" prompt and select either "Active Documents" or "Archived Documents." 3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Start Search" button and the proper file should appear. Furthermore, the RFP and any amendments issued are also located at another site beside the FedBizOpps web site. Keep this information for future reference as it is highly probable that future amendments will be posted at the following site: The RFP is also located at the following URL: http://www.neco.navy.mil. The following provides directions on how to use this site: 1. Right side menu click on "Business Opportunities". 2. On next screen is a method to search for the NECO site. Use one of the two methods below: a. Search by "Solicitation Number"-- type in "N0002402R2275"; or, b. Search by issuing agency, referred to as "Command/Site". Look for "N00024 Naval Sea Systems Command". 3. Next screen has a RFP menu on the left; click on "N00024-02-R-2275" on the right side menu. 4. Next screen scroll down to "Line Items"; click on "N00024-02-R-2275 download". 5. You will get a Netscape prompt. Click on "Save". Save the zip file to wherever you want. Interested parties are reminded to continu e to access the FedBizOpps web site, http://www.fedbizopps.gov, as well as the NECO website for this program for possible changes in plans, additional available information, amendments, and future events. Interested parties can register as vendors on the NECO home page www.neco.navy.mil. Vendor registration enables vendors to receive auto notification via email of amendments to RFPs posted on NECO. 18. N/A!! 19. Total small business set aside. *****
