- Timber Sale-810 Tons of salvage pine timber that may become available on Navy lands in the Pensacola/Whiting Field Complex through 31 December 2004. The merchantable timber may be dead or green, standing or down: Invitation No. N63467-03-B-3121. Bid opening is on Thursday, 23 January 2003, at 2:00pm(Local Time). The timber is to be sold on a per ton basis and the estimated volume is not guaranteed. Quantity may vary by as much as 100 % less or 300% more than the estimated amount advertised. The size standard is 500 employees. NOTICE: Additional security measures have been initiated after the events of 11 September 2001. You should take into account the impact of these measures in your response to this solicitation. FOR SPECIFICATIONS: The Government intends to issue the solicitation on the WEB only and through the Forestry Bidders List maintained by Mr. John Parlier at (843) 820-5594. Prospective Bidders MUST register on the web site http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed from the web. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE BIDDERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION.
