Description

General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting bids for the purchase of filters for park buildings. This solicitation will be issued on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Prospective bidders desiring to conduct business with the Department of Interior are requested to register at the National Business Center. Solicitation documents shall be in Microsoft Word. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes in the solicitation will need to register to receive ntoification at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the website for all information relevant to this solicitation. Prospective bidders should visit this website to check for amendments and other changes to contract documents. No other notifications will be sent. No telephone or written requests for solicitation package will be accepted. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. Proposed Issue Date: December 9, 2002 Description: The work of this contract provides for the furnishing of filters for 21 buildings located within Independence National Historical Park, Philadelphia, PA. Solicitation includes a base bid plus four option years. Contractor will be responsible for conducting a building survey at the start of the base year. Filters shall normally be changed twice a year, in April and September. Two additional pre-filter changes during each season may be required, dependent on usage.
