- NA The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center intends to award a single firm-fixed price purchase order to Massachusetts Institute of Technology Auto-ID Center, Cambridge, MA 02139, to measure data from the Auto-ID EPC RFID tags with the analytic shelf-li fe model from storage data as supplied from the Combat Feeding Program. MIT developed the Savent software and protocols for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) which are the new standards which are being used for the implementation of RF technology into the DoD Class I operations. There are no other known companies that has access to and knowledge of the technology needed to provide agency requirements. No quotation document is available. The Purchase Request number for this acquisition is W91A2K-2319- 2002. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990.
