- Description
- The 377th Contracting Squadron at Kirtland AFB, NM intends to negotiate and award a contract for Laundry Service at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, training, and other items necessary to perform operations of laundry service. This acquisition will be accomplished as a commercial purchase in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13. Contractor is to provide Commercial Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service, pick up and delivery of linen, assorted hospital linen for the Medical Group and various special uniforms. The performance period is a Basic Contract (9 months) with four (4) one-year option periods, starting 01 Jan 03 through 30 Sep 07. This will be a firm fixed-price type contract. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812332 (formerly known as Standard Industry code (SIC) 7218), threshold of $12.0 million. Interested parties may download the solicitation from www.eps.gov when it becomes available. The solicitation will be posted on or about 9 Dec 2002. A required site visit will be held on 12 Dec 02, to ensure vendors have an understanding of the requirement. Please contact point of contact for place to meet and time. NO paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. Offers shall be submitted via paper copy only. The specific closing date and time for submission of offerors will be contained in the solicitation package. It is imperative interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr2000.com prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Payments of all invoices will be done through the Government Purchase Card. All responsible sources may submit a solicitation, which will be considered by the agency.
