- Description
- Design services to furnish complete study for Project 573-83-03, "Chilled Water System Study", at the VA Medical Center, Lake City, Florida 32025. This project is to provide a study to determine the cost for project development for replacing chilled water system. The A/E should have experience with health care facility renovation projects in general, and utility engineering in particular. The A/E frim selected for the design will be required to perform all necessary site survey work, such as verifying record drawings and analyzing utility systems and code requirements. Firms should have the capability of producing a detailed study and cost breakdown including a cost estimate for design development of this project. Selection will be based upon recent specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, professsional capacity to accomplish the work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to project, past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry, in terms of cost control, quality of work, and other appropriate evaluation criteria. Consideration is limited to Architect/Engineering firms located within a 200 mile radius of Lake City, FL. In accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, this solicitation is unrestriced as to size of firm. Firms desiring consideration should submit a SF 254 and SF 255 (see note #24) by close of business (4:30PM 1/7/03. Award is subject to availability of FY 2003 funds.
