- NA 100% Small Business Set-Aside note 1 applies. DESCRIPTION: Under statutory authority 38 USC 8153 Enhanced Health Care Resource, the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Miami, FL requires Optometry Services and Eyeglasses provided to eligible veterans in the VAMC catchment area (Key West, Marathon, Key Largo and Homestead). The contract period will consist of Base Year and two Option Years. The VAMC is attempting to obtain eye exams and eyeglasses for eligible veterans in close proximety to the veterans' residence. The VAMC anticipates either a single award or multiple awards of indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract(s) on a firm fixed unit price basis from this solicitation. Submitted proposals will be evaluated on demonstrated capability, quality assurance, personnel qualifications, past performance and price. Demonstrated capability, quality assurance, personnel qualifications and past performance are of equal importance and are significantly more important than cost/price. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 621320 and the size standard is $6.0 million dollars.
