Description
The Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Solid Waste, intends to award a three year contract to a qualified 8(a) contractor to provide support services to EPA for the development and implementation of models to predict fate, transport, exposure, and risk of chemicals in the environment and other supportive tasks as delineated in this section. The purpose of this announcement is to determine the availability of 8(a) businesses capable of performing the activities included in the DRAFT statement of work. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for interested offerors to submit a brief capability statement so that a determination can be made regarding their ability to perform this procurement. Limit your submission to no more than 5 pages. The Environmental Protection Agency's Headquarters Contract Service Center proposes to procure contractor support for the Office of Solid Waste. The full DRAFT statement of work is available at the following web site: http://www.epa.gov/oam/srpod. It is anticipated that the resultant contract type will be an 8(a) , with a one-year base period and two 1-year option periods. The estimated total contract level-of-effort is 34,000 hours. The statement of work requirements fall under NAICS code 561110. Interested 8(a) businesses must demonstrate their capabilities to perform in the tasking areas listed in the DRAFT Statement of Work.
