- Description
- The Social Security Administration intends to award a purchase order to Candle Corporation for training. This requirement is for two classes, one for Omegamon XE Management Pac for WebSphere MQ and one for Omegamon XE and DE Administration for Distributed System. Each class is for five days and will be conducted at SSA in Baltimore, MD. Course material will be provided by the contractor. SSA will pay for instructor travel. The classes will occur in the month of December and January. Candle Corporation is the only known source capable of providing the training. Other organizations possessing the requisite training services are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, pricing and other pertinent data (including GSA Schedule information). When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Candle Training. Responses must be in writing and should be submitted to the address cited at the beginning of this notice or by email at jane.quinn@ssa.gov. THE DUE DATE FOR RESPONSES IS 3:00 PM, EST, November 26, 2002. FAXED RESPONSES SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of evaluating responses to this notice, the contracting office may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor, as stated herein, and to all firms that respond to this notice or otherwise request of copy of the solicitation.
