Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the supply of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation number N00181-03-Q-0056 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). NAIC 335314 with a standard size of 750 employees. Deliverables shall be FOB Destination, NNSY, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. This is for a firm fixed price requirement for the following items: Item 0001. Class 1 Div 2, Magnetic Controller 3 PH 208 VAC, SQ D Class 8536, SBT42 V08 or equal. Full voltage starts with enclosure. Nema rated for Class 1 Div 11/7 and 9 Hazardous Locations Magnetic Controller for 3 Phase, 208 VAC, Motor of 1 HP Maximum, Code V08, Piece 001, Qty: 15 each. Item 0002. Class 1 Div 2, Magnetic Controller 2P 208 VAC, Sq D Class 8536, SBT41, V08Single PH or equal, Class 1 Division 2, Magnetic Controller for 2 pole, Single Phase, 208 VAC, Motor of 1 HP Maximum use. Full voltage motor starts with enclosure. Nema Type 7 and 9 rated for Hazardous Locations, Piece 002, Qty: 3 each. Item 0003. Sealing Compound, Crouse Hinds, Chico A 1 LB can. NOTE: a. All material for this line item must be marked and identified clearly on each individual container and LABEL IAW CFR29.1910.1200. b. Date manufactured shall be marked and identified clearly on each individual unit label, regardless of its inclusion in batch numbers. c. Shelf life expiration date shall be clearly marked on each individual unit. d. All material of this contract must be received at Norfolk Naval Shipyard within 30/60 days of date manufactured.
