- The Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center is soliciting proposals to provide a mix of Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Systems Analysis, Systems Definition, Acquisition and Planning, and other technical support for the Total Ship Systems Directorate. Technical areas include (1) Concept Studies; (2) Naval Architecture (Design); (3) Naval Architecture (Hydrodynamics); (4) Marine Engineering; (5) Modeling and Simulation; (6) Other Technical Support; and (7) Reliability, Maintainability and Availability Requirements. The mission of the Total Ship Systems Directorate is to improve the performance, effectiveness and affordability of vehicle design, manufacture and support through the management, assessment, research, development and integration of current and emerging technology. A five-year, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated. This solicitation shall be issued on an unrestricted competitive basis. The solicitation and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued.
