- NA The work consists of the construction of a Flight Simulator Facility at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. The Flight Simulator Facility is a single story building, approximately 2,400 SM, open simulator bay, study lab, testing lab, training classrooms and o ther administrative and support spaces. In addition to the work listed above, the project includes the following: landscaping and irrigation, parking, sidewalks, on-site utilities, and other appurtenances associated with the project. Estimated cost range of this project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on/or about December 9, 2002, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans, specifications, and planholders lists will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Registration for plans and specifications MUST BE MADE VIA OUR INTERNET HOME PAGE at www.swt.usace.army.mil select Information; Contracting Opportunities. No phone calls to order pleas e. All orders will be mailed via first class mail. Requests for special handling (Fed-X, etc.) will not be honored.
