Description
NA Anniston Army Depot is seeking companies who have the capability to supply a variety of specialty shop and industrial tools for the installation's Tool Crib. The Tool Crib supports a multi-mission industrial base recognized for heavy combat vehicle expert ise and weapons, as well as the maintenance of the industrial facilities. Types of tools include a variety of common hand tools, power tools, high speed drill motors and their repair parts, as well as calibrated tools, bits, grinding equipment, pullers, to rque wrenches, etc. The contractor would also be requested to provide a lifetime warranty for hand tools provided under this contract, as well as a trade in cost by line item for old (non-contractor provided) unserviceable tools which require replacement by Contractor provided equipment. The Contractor would also develop a simplified ordering mechanism (preferably an online catalog) which would permit a limited number of Government personnel to place orders for the Tool Crib based on short range needs as well as the procurement mechanism to meet these needs, if the Contractor does not itself supply these tools directly. The Contractor's mechanism must support just-in-time delivery process without the need for later backfill of Government orders. The Contr actor shall provide all labor, transportation, specialized software (if any) phone, fax, and mail service required in the performance of these services in order to communicate with the Government during this relationship. Anniston Army Depot is open to an y efficient, economical approach to preclude the repeated contracting means currently being utilized. Interested companies are requested to provide a synopsis of 5 pages or less describing similar projects they have successfully managed and provide a copy of their complete catalog of items available to support this effort, not later than 15 calendar days after synopsis appears in the CBD. We are eager to view your submissions; however, please only forward data that directly supports your capability to perf orm this mission. Electronic submissions are requested and we request an email address and an internet web address (if any). Information may be sent to Rita Dingler at dinglerr@anad.army.mil or catalogs mailed to Rita Dingler, Anniston Army Depot, ATTN: AM STA-AN-CT, Bldg 221, 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston, AL 36201-4199. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS - DO NOT REQUEST SOLICITATION.
