Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being re quested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for Repair, Maintenance and Inspection on Portable Fire Extinguishers and Fixed Fire Extinguishing/Suppression Systems. CLINS 0001 and 0002 are for the period 15 Dec 02 through 1 4 Dec 03. CLIN: CLIN 0001 UNIT Each; Inspections of Fire Extinguishers, Halon Systems, Fire Suppression Systems. You shall provide a price per inspection. CLIN 0001AA Inspection of Fire Extinguishers various sizes, types and weights IAW NFPA 10 est 2,500 Inspection CLIN 0001AB Annual Inspection of Halon, CO2, and FM-200 Systems IAW NFPA 12A Chapter 4 12 Inspections CLIN 0001AC Semi Annual Inspections of 9 Fixed Fire Suppression Systems IAW NFPA 96, NFPA 17 & NFPA 17A: 18 Inspections CLIN 0002 Repair and Service of Fire Extinguishers, Fixed Halon, C02, FM-200 and Dry and Wet Chemical Extinguishing Systems. You shall provide your hourly labor rate with your quote. Estimated $10,000.00 Option CLINS 1001 and 1002 are for the period 15 Dec 03 through 14 Dec 04. CLIN 1001 Inspections of Fire Extinguisher, Halon Systems, Fire Suppression Systems CLIN 1001AA Same as CLIN 0001AA estimated 2,500 Inspections CLIN 1001AB Same as CLIN 0001 AB 12 Inspections CLIN 1001AC Same as CLIN 0001AC 18 Inspections CLIN 1002 Same as CLIN 0002 estimated $10,000.00 The solicitation will be issued on a 100% Small Business restricted basis. The NAICS code is 561210 with a size standard of $6.0 million. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Cir cular 2001-09 dated 29 Jul 02. Payment is via VISA credit card. If you do accept VISA, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5 (52.221-21, 52.222.26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-36, 52.222-41, 52.222-42), FAR 52.217-8 (10 days of expiration), FAR 52.217-9 (15 days of expiration). The statement of work, wage determination and a form for submitting your p roposal may be found on our web page at, http://www.wsmr.army.mil/docpage/pages/sol_stat.htm. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-2 Award will be made to the technically acceptable, low price offeror with demonstrated satisfacto ry past performance. In order to be considered technically acceptable you shall submit with your quote evidence that you are state licensed to certify fire system work and that your inspectors are certified in each of our systems. You shall also submit two references pertaining to past performance of same or similar work. Inspection and acceptance shall be at Government destination.
