Description
The Contractor shall provide for the rental of a Transportable Kidney Stone Treatment Center to the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Roseburg Healthcare System, 913 NW Garden Valley Boulevard, Roseburg, Oregon, 97470. VA requires a Transportable STORZ Modulith=AE SLX-T Lithotripter and a Convergent Odyssey 30 Holmium=AE Laser System or name-brand equivalent or better mobile systems. A Contractor provided trained technician shall be present during the utilization of the equipment by VA. This technician must be knowledgeable on all aspects of the equipment provided, its functions, and technical requirements.=20 The Contractor shall also provide additional support to the technician and VA staff from the manufacturer=92s technical staff, when needed during patient care.=20 The Contractor shall provide training to the VA Urologist in all aspects of the equipment=92s functions at no cost to VA. The Contractor shall also provide VA all technical facility information, such as electrical requirements, environmental or other information to assure safe and accurate treatments to VA patients.=20 When VA places an order for the use of either the Lithotripter or Holmium Laser, the Contractor shall provide the equipment within 5 business days. VA can allow up to 10 business days or longer if it still meets VA requirements for patient care. VA reserves the right to seek any alternate method of patient care at any time. =20
