- Description
- The Navajo Area Indian Health Services(NAIHS)/Fort Defiance Indian Hospital (FDIH) is soliciting proposals from interested offerors who possess the professional experience to provide long-term inpatient treatment and other intensive levels of mental health care for eligible Native American adolescents primarily from the NAIHS Service Units and FDIH. These services will be provided in a Government-owned hospital at the Fort Defiance Indian Hospital in Fort Defiance, Arizona. The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, office supplies, office equipment, insurance to provide services in a Government-owned facility and medical liability insurance for the provision of behavioral health care services. The Contractor shall be JCAHO accredited or CMS certified; licensed to provide behavioral health services and their staff shall be appropriately certified and licensed throughout the term of the contract. The Contractor shall have in place a mechanism for collection of third party resources. Anticipated award will be for an initial eight (8) month period with four (4) one (1) year option periods.
