Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to add, on a sole source basis, a night vision goggle mounting kit to the contract for Special Operations Forces Equipment Advanced Requirements (SPEAR) Modular Integrated Communication Helmet (MICH). The contract number is USZA22-00-D-0005, CGF Helmets; 30 Industrial Dr, Ste 10; Newport, VT 05855. This contract was awarded on a competitive basis. The maximum quantity of this kit will be 20,000 which is consistent with the maximum quantities of other spare parts on contract. Statutory authority for these sole source extensions is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is for informational purposes only; therefore no formal solicitation will result from this announcement.
