Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) and The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD, intends to issue a modification to existing contract N00421-97-C-1500 to extend the term of the contact from 30 November 2002 through 31 December 2002. The contract provides Technical and Engineering (T&E) support for program life cycle management of the E2C/C2 program (PMA-231). This modification will not change the current Statement of Work, labor categories, place of performance or deliverables. This modification will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Veridian Engineering, Incorporated, 4455 Genessee Street, P. O. Box 400, Buffalo, NY 14225, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Veridian is the only source that can provide the necessary continued services without a break in support under the current contract. This modification will provide a bridge for continued service until the new contract can be implemented. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Note 22 applies
