Description

NA **THIS IS A REVISION OF A PREVIOUS NOTICE:** The Corps of Engineers is compiling a list of SBA certified 8(a) OR HubZone Firms that have the capabilities to provide the following contruction efforts for a future requirement: the project would include the f ollowing features: (1) Extension of the existing 4' by 8' concrete twin box culvert from Berry Street to Elm Street in Dover for a length of about 1,640 feet and the associated relocation of existing utilities; (2) Replacement of the two existing Rockaway Town Square Mall detention basin outlet structu res to reduce peak outflow rates and (3) Channel improvements (gabions) along approximately 150 feet of McKeel Brook to provide streambank stabilization. Seasonal restrictions will be a factor in scheduling t he conduct of the work. Environmental windows wi ll limit any tree clearing activities to the period between March and November. Also, culvert work in Dover Township may occur only during the summer months when school is not in session. The estimated Const ruction Cost Range of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The duration of the project is approximately 540 calendar days. This compilation is necessary to enable the COE to determine if an available pool of qualified 8(a) OR HubZonw firms a re available to compete for this effort. Interest ed firms are instructed to contact Ed Lew via e-mail at edward.t.lew@nan02.usace.army.mil, or on company letterhead, to Ed Lew, 26 Federal Plaza, CENAN-CT, Room 1843, New York, NY 10278-0090. and provide do cumentation that illustrates the firms capabilities and prior efforts that are similar to the subject construction effort. This announcement does not imply that the Government is obligated to award this effort in the future. All interested and qualified 8( a) OR HubZone Firms are encouraged to reply. Upon conclusion of the compilation, if the Government has determined that the qualified pool is not significant enough for a restricted competition, this requirement, if advertised, may be solicited as an unrest ricted requirement.
