- NA USPFO for Missouri, Attn: NGMO-PFC, 7101 Military Circle, Jefferson City, MO 65101. DUE: 2 December 2002. POC: Contract Specialist, Patsy Huth (573)638-9629. DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this Sources Sought/Market Research is to identify potential s ources capable of supplying Non-Destructive Testing Kit (Dual) consisting of Tester Ultrasonic and Tester Eddy Current. The functionality and performance of the offered product should be similar to Staveley NDT Technologies Eddy Current and Ultrasonic Dua l, Purpose Kit, P/N 9744790. The Ultrasonic Lightweight Tester Set is for nondestructive flaw testing and thickness gauging of metallic and nonmetallic materials. The Ultrasonic Test Set shall be suitable for Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) use by Army National Guard Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depots (AVCRADs) and Army Aviation Support Facilities (AASFs). The Eddy Current Tester (unit) shall provide field non-destructive inspection technicians with a rugged, portable and reliable means for performing eddy current inspections, flaw detection and shall have bolt hole scanner functionality. The unit shall utilize an impedance plane display and shall have a dual variable frequency mode of operation. Units shall operate from standard 115/220 vo lt+or-10%, 50 and 60 Hz power supplies. Battery packs shall be rechargeable and provide at least eight hours of continuous operation at 68 degrees F. Testers are to contain all components necessary to perform above tests. Warranty period required is two years to repair, replace retrofit and/or redesign defective hardware and correct data deficiencies. A 1-day training session is required not only for the Ultrasonic Tester but also for the Eddy Current Tester. Agencies are seeking small businesses who could supply the testers and provide the training. Companies who respond shall be Central Contractor Registered (CCR).
