Description
REPAIR 17. Description: Services, Non-Personal, Repair: The Contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the repair and/or reconfiguration, test, packing and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the line items of Air Force equipment listed below. A five-year requirements contract is contemplated up to 60 assets per year. The item and estimated quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001 Repair, NSN: 5840-01-448-9551IM, P/N: 01A246001-03 Noun: Radar Transmitter, Application: AN/TPX-42A(V) System Quantity: 291 CLIN 0002 Repair/Reconfigure, NSN: 5840-01-365-6761IM, P/N: 01A246001-01; Noun: Radar Transmitter; Application: AN/TPX-42A(V) System; Quantity: 6 CLIN 0003 Repair/Reconfigure; NSN: 5840-01-442-3536IM, P/N: 01A246001-02; Noun: Radar Transmitter; Application: AN/TPX-42A(V) System; Quantity: 3 CLIN 0004 Repair of UPM-155 Radar Test Quantity: 1 Lot CLIN 0005 Data IAW DD Form 1423 Quantity: 1 Lot This solicitation is to obtain a five-year requirements type repair contract with contractor furnished material. The GFE under CLIN 0004 is a governmet furnished test set necessary for repair. The approximate Issue/Response Date will be 03 January 2003. Deliveries are to be at a rate as follows: CLIN 0001 ? CLIN 0003: 60 Days ARO or ARR (whichever is later); CLIN 0004 ? 30 ARO Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 736-3273. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Note: Request for Written Quotations will be issued. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: Request for Written Quotation will be issued. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice.
