- NAICS Code: 54162 The Environmental Protection Agency intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ENVIRON International Corporation. The requirement is for the application of existing pharmacokinetics (PBPK) models for 1,2-dichloroethane that could support the use of the inhalation cancer bioassay as the basis for the oral cancer risk estimate i.e. route-to-route extrapolation and also involves the application of PBPK model to compare across-route for derivation of RfD and RfC for 1,2-dichloroethane. Deliverable report on the application of PBPK model for cancer and non-cancer risk assessment for 1,2-dichloroethane. EPA source research indicates ENVIRON International Corporation is uniquely qualified to meet this requirement. Any firms believing itself capable of meeting EPA's requirements may submit technical documentation to establish the potential of complying with the statement of work. Such documentation must be submitted to the POC within 15 days of electronic posting of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis. This acquisition is being processed under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 54162. The anticipated award date is _11/21/02_.
