- Description
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, has a requirement for Safety Supplies. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. Responses will be accepted only from qualified small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339113, the applicable Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The following items are to be procured on a Firm-Fixed Price basis. The items are as follows: ITEM 0001: Butyl gloves, smooth finish (large) (25 each); ITEM 0002: Butyl gloves, smooth finish (X-large) (25 each); ITEM 0003: Emergency escape air system, 5 minute, high exertion with carrying case (25 each); ITEM 0004: First aid kit with resuscitation option, 100 person (5 each); ITEM 0005: Safety cuff glove, wells-lamont (large) (50 each); ITEM 0006: Safety cuff gloves, wells-lamont (X-Large) (50 each); ITEM 0007: Gauntlet cuff gloves, wells-lamont (X-large) (50 each); ITEM 0008: Gauntlet cuff gloves, wells-lamont (large) (50 each); ITEM 0009: Harness, vest-type (medium) (10 each); ITEM 0010: TYVEK deluxe coverall (large) (100 each); ITEM 0011: TYVEK deluxe coverall (X-large) (100 each); ITEM 0012: TYVEK deluxe coverall (XX-large) (100 each); ITEM 0013: Portable Eye wash station light weight 6 gallons (5 each); ITEM 0014: Eye saline concentrate, 70 oz (5 each); ITEM 0015: Latex over boots, size X-large (100 each); ITEM 0016: Latex over boots, size large (100 each); ITEM 0017: Fog free goggles (50 each). FOB Point must be FOB Destination to Manassas, VA 20110. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: (a) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, (b) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, (c) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. Offerers must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to receive payment. The CCR web address for registration: http://www.ccr.gov. Award will be made on an ALL or NONE basis and Price. The written quote must include Price. Offers shall be submitted to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, 650 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Room 3290, Washington, DC 20226 no later than November 15, 2002 3:00PM Washington, DC local time.
