Description
The U S Naval Academy (USNA) has a requirement for the following: Three (3) seminars to be held on the following dates: Clin 0001 Seminar starting on 3 February 2003 through 7 February 2003. Clin 0002 Seminar starting on 31 March 2003 through 4 April 2003. Clin 0003 Seminar starting 9 June 2003 through 13 June 2003. This solicitation shall close on 29 November 2002 at close of business 1530 local time. CAREER MANAGEMENT SEMINAR STATEMENT OF WORK These career transition courses shall specialize in military to private sector career transition. Training modules shall include the following: 1. Introduction 2. Reality of the Future 3. Case Studies 4. Lessons learned from other Senior Military 5. Personnel 6. Establishing Personal Goals and Objectives 7. Resume Writing and Portfolio 8. Presentation Skills 9. Contact Development 10. Job Interview Process 11. Negotiating Compensation 12. Network Follow-up 13. Innovative Marketing Techniques 14. Campaign Plan/Control and Organization 15. Assistance (Publications, Internet, Etc.) 16. Hiring Hurdles for Military Personnel 17. How to be successful in Job Hunting Instructors must be capable of addressing all aspects associated with the transition from military to private sector environment. Total attendees shall be fourteen (14) senior military members and their spouses. Instructor(s) must be career Navy and possess an MBA. Must have three to five (3 to 5) years in the corporate business world, and have an experience as a career consultant for military personnel for three (3) years. Contractor shall provide resume(s) of instructor(s) with proposal. Contractor shall provide the following for the course: 1. Manuals for each attendee 2. Handouts 3. Resume critique and feedback 4. Pre-seminar personal survey/personal preference type indicator and feedback 5. Telephone consulting for each participant is included for thirty (30) days post-course. Spouse of the participants shall be included at no additional fee.
