Description
MARKET RESEARCH ? The Marine Corps Technical Support to the Operating Forces (TSOF) initiative consists of three components ? operation of the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Help Desk at MCTSSA, deployed support to Marine Corps Operating Forces World Wide, and support to the following units and commands in the surrounding geographical locations: Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Washington D.C.; Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC), Camp Smith, Hawaii; Marine Forces Atlantic (MARFORLANT), Norfolk, Virginia; Marine Forces, Europe (MARFOREUR), Stuttgart, Germany, Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), New Orleans, Louisiana; First Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF), Camp Pendleton, California; Second Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF), Camp Lejuene, North Carolina; Third Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF), Okinawa, Japan; Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) Camp Pendleton, California. Technical Support is provided for, but not limited to, the following: Tactical systems: Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Global Command and Control System-Top Secret (GCCS-T), Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M), Intelligence Analysis System (IAS), Tactical Combat Operations (TCO), Improved Direct Air Support Center (IDASC), Tactical Air Operations Module (TAOM), IAS Operator Workstation (IOS), Marine Expeditionary Force Intelligence Analysis System (MEF-IAS), Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Common Message Processor (CMP), Joint Warning and Reporting Network (JWARN), Systems Planning Engineering Evaluation Device (SPEED), Tactical Data Network (TDN), Joint Defense Information Infrastructure Control System-Deployed (JDIICS-D), Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS), Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), CRYPTO DEVICES, Joint Warning and Reporting Device (JWARN), Tactical Remote Sensor System (TRSS), SYSTEM SECURITY, IAS Operator Workstation (IOW), INTEL CLIENT, Commander?s Tactical Terminal (CTT), Secret Internet Protocol Routing System (SIPRNET), Data Automated Communications Terminal (DACT), and Expeditionary Air-Defense System (EADS). Non-tactical: UNIX (HP & SUN), MS NT, WINDOWS 95, 98, 2000, Network Communications, System Administration Tools, REMEDY (ARS), HP Openview. The TSOF initiative provides cross-system, integrated solutions to the complex C4I challenges faced by the modern Marine Commander. This initiative involves all Marine Corps C4I programs of record, enhancing their collective ability to perform cohesively on behalf of the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) and Marine Forces Atlantic, Pacific, and Europe (MARFOR) Commanders. In addition, the TSOF initiative provides: system and network administration, troubleshooting, technical guidance, Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) connectivity, and software fielding and training on all C4I systems and networks. The TSOF Project provides integration and operational support in both the USMC and Joint services environment and support to the Operational Forces during exercises and contingencies. A major task of the TSOF initiative is the operation of the MARCORSYSCOM C4I Service Center/Help Desk located at MCTSSA, Camp Pendleton, California. The MARCORSYSCOM C4I Help Desk, which operates on a twenty-four hour schedule, provides critical C4I support to the Operating Forces. C4I Help Desk Analysts provide solutions to trou ble calls from throughout the Marine Corps and Department of Defense (DOD). They support all other TSOF personnel in garrison and at deployed sites worldwide. They deploy on exercises, operations, and contingencies, field software, and perform on-site upgrades to mission critical software and hardware suites. They also provide innovative solutions for the configuration and maintenance of the distributed C4I solution database. All firms that believe they possess the expertise to satisfy the above requirements are invited to submit a response to this notice. All responses will be evaluated to ascertain the capabilities of firms that are able to meet the entire scope of the requirement. The following key information is requested: 1. Detailed description of product and services that will be provided including involvement of any potential subcontractors. 2. Historical in formation of similar Government product and/or services provided along with points of contacts and phone numbers. 3. Provide your companies background information such as; socioeconomic program preferences, and GSA or GWAC Contract information.
