- Description
- The Joint Strike Fighter Program Office intends to issue sole source orders against Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00019-02-G-3053 to Pratt and Whitney (P&W), 400 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108; and Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-02-G-3236 to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), One Neumann Way, Cincinnati, OH 45215. These orders will require P&W and GEAE to mature technologies and reduce development risk as part of the process to transition technologies to the System Development and Demonstration (SDD) Program. P&W and GEAE shall conduct trade studies, and design, fabricate and test prototypes as necessary to demonstrate the capability of advanced technologies and reduce transition risks to the SDD Program. P&W and GEAE are the only responsible sources capable of supporting this requirement. Any programmatic questions should be addressed to Stoney MacAdams at Stoney.MacAdams@jsf.mil.
