- Description
- The National Naval Medical Center, (NNMC), Bethesda, MD intends to award a sole source procurement to International Remote Imaging System for an Iris 500 Urine/Fluids Workstation, S/N 403 to include Video Camera. The requirement is for the Lab Medicine Dept. Period: 18 NOV 02 thru 17 NOV 03, plus three (3) Option Years. Agreement is to include parts, labor, travel, unlimited service calls and two (2) preventive maintenance visits. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A copy of the solicitation can be viewed and downloaded at www.neco.navy.mil. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and contingent upon availability of FY 03 funding.
