- NA West Filter Instrumentation, Washington Aqueduct, Washington, DC. This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The Sic Codes are 236220/233320; size standard $28,500,000.00. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000, 000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Com pletion no later than 280 calendar days. Work consists of modifications to instrumentation work, air system, and lighting system. . Issue o/a 21 Nov 02; opening o/a 23 Dec 02. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation is the internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors requests for solicitations and quotations will be performed through A rmy Single Face to Industry (ASFI). Contractors may register to be placed on the bidders/offerors mailing lists by going to the web site: http://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil. Contractors may view and/or download solicitation information from the Internet site . All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. The initial registration date expired 31 May 1998. For information regarding registration, the CCR Web site can be accessed at http://www.ccr2000.com. Other information regarding registration can be obtained through CCR Ass istance Center (CCRAC) at 1-888-227-2423. Additionally a paper form for registration may be obtained from the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged businesses contact their cognizant S mall Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors.
